On Monday, April 19, 2021 the members of Akoma Ntoso Modern Quilt Guild visited Rosie’s Tiny Tots Ministry in Indianapolis with the intention of gifting twenty-three 4 and 5 year olds with book pillows in honor of World Book Day!  The first World Book Day was celebrated on 23 April in 1995, and continues to be recognized on that day. Members of the guild donated fabric, pillows and their time and effort to create stunning book pillows that have not only pockets on the front of the pillow to hold precious books, but was also emblazoned with each child’s name! The children and staff of Rosie’s Tiny Tots Ministry could not have been more appreciative of our efforts!

Each book pillow was personalized with students’ names to make the gift very special!
